Kijana

Inspired by an African childhood and the tradition of story-telling, these three stories have been re-written and re-drawn several times since this portfolio was issued. Fred Schimmel,  artist mentor and friend, silk-screened the illustrations and text. Kijana has now evolved into three songs.

A number of the portfolios were damaged by fire, but some were unaffected.
